What Is “The Archive”?
Broadcast on Portland’s jazz RADIO, the show brings rare recordings From Our community archiv direct to the airwaves.
The Archive radio show extends Albina Music Trust’s preservation work beyond the walls of a community archive and into the everyday life of a city. Each episode is a curated mix of recordings from our community archive—featuring restored tapes, forgotten artists, and a deepened amplification of Portland’s musical ecosystem. The Archive radio show is more than a playlist, providing context, care, and continuity for recorded music largely lost to the sands of time.
A living archive, broadcast in real time.
