What Is The Archive?Broadcast on Portland’s airwaves, The Archive brings historic and unreleased recordings from AMT’s community archive directly to listeners.
The Archive radio program extends AMT’s preservation work beyond the community archive and onto the airwaves. Each episode is a curated selection from AMT’s collections, bringing together the music and the stories of those who have shaped Portland’s musical legacy. The music is selected by AMT staff, musicians, and collection donors, with each episode offering a different entry point into AMT’s community archive. Hosted by AMT Executive Director, Bobby Smith.
A living archive, broadcast in real time.
